Central to achieving this, is Peter’s strong commercial acumen and his understanding of financial regulations which enable him to take an innovative approach to creating and delivering value added and cost improvement plans.

Career path

Following graduation Peter joined a big four accountancy practice where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Wishing to work within industry he joined a FTSE engineering company. This provided a solid basis for a career within financial management.

A move to a world class USA Engineering giant followed where Peter developed his project and change management expertise, qualifying as a Six Sigma Black Belt. These allowed Peter to have a wider understanding of business processes and become more of a motivator for driving innovation within organisations.

Following this Peter joined a leading UK construction company giving Peter his first experience of the healthcare sector providing financial and contract management support to a number of PFI, LIFT and P21/P22 schemes.

2017 saw a change in direction with Peter moving to the public sector for the first time in his career when he joined PropCare. As PropCare was a newly formed company, Peter was able to establish first rate management systems from ground zero, with influence far beyond the financial boundaries, establishing critical business performance measures and the creation of innovative solutions for clients.
