Operations Manager

An Associate Member of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management with more than 15 years of multi-disciplinary FM experience, Andrew joined the team back in 2022, working alongside Paddy McAteer as one of PropCare’s two in-house Operations Managers.

About Andrew

Highly regarded and with a detailed understanding of all aspects of both hard and soft facilities management, Andrew is responsible for the day to day management and compliance service delivery of PropCare’s service contracts and SLAs at Wirral Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and the Marina Dalglish Centre at Aintree University Hospital.

With a deep appreciation of contractual agreements, relevant standards, and both statutory and NHS requirements, he ensures accurate and robust compliance management, effective communication and the creation and adherence to processes and procedures at both facilities within his remit.

Beginning his career in facilities management back in 2008, Andrew secured his first managerial position in 2014, working as an Assistant Facilities Manager for the Mersey Care NHS Trust. Just over a year later, he made the move into the private sector, spending more than 7 years in a variety of management positions at global FM specialists, Emcor before joining PropCare in 2022. Since then, he’s supported the smooth delivery of a range of complex and challenging projects, mobilising a number of newly awarded and high profile contracts, and achieving numerous contract extensions in the process.
